Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Arusha

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart the lodge for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a mid-morning game drive with a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River. Encounter Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants among the iconic Baobab trees. Spot leopards, ostriches, lions, zebras, and possibly wild dogs. After a full day of game viewing, retreat to Nimali Africa Luxury Camp for a private bush dinner and overnight stay in this intimate setting nestled under acacia trees beside a picturesque dry riverbed with granite boulders.

Day 3: Tarangire – Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Mtowa Mbu town for a guided village walk, where you’ll interact with locals, visit homes, and experience traditional beer, banana, and rice farms. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch or local Nyama Choma (goat skewers). Continue to Lake Manyara for birdwatching and game viewing, including tree-climbing lions and elephants. Day 4: Manyara–Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for Ngorongoro Crater, known as the 8th wonder of the world, for a full day of game viewing. Encounter black rhinos, flamingos at Lake Magadi, and a variety of wildlife including gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, and hyenas. If lucky, spot lions seeking shade by your vehicle. In the evening, ascend to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, blending seamlessly with the landscape, for dinner and overnight stay on the crater rim.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we venture into the heart of the Serengeti National Park, leaving behind the highlands for its vast plains. Our destination is the Seronera area, rich in wildlife with the Seronera River attracting diverse species. Enjoy a game drive en-route to Four Seasons Lodge for lunch. After settling in, embark on an afternoon game drive followed by a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint. Located on the edge of the Seronera Valley, Four Seasons Lodge offers serene seclusion with panoramic views of the Savannah plains and wildlife sightings at the nearby watering hole.

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti with Hot Air Balloon

At 5:00 am, Serengeti Balloon Safaris will collect you from Four Seasons Lodge in Central Serengeti for an unforgettable adventure. After a briefing and balloon inflation, soar above the Serengeti at dawn, enjoying wildlife sightings and panoramic views. Celebrate with champagne and a full English breakfast in the bush. Receive your flight certificate before continuing your safari activities. End your day with a hot shower at the lodge and an exclusive bush dinner in the wilderness.

Day 7: Serengeti – Zanzibar

Sunrise breakfast in the bush, return to the camp to freshen up then later be transferred to Seronera Airstrip in Central Serengeti to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by Gilmag Safaris’ representative and then transferred to the Xanadu Villas, where a well and stylishly decorated room with a fruit platter and a bottle of sparkling wine will be awaiting you.

Day 8 – 11: Zanzibar

After your wildlife safari, unwind for four days on Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches. Relax or join excursions to historic Stone Town, Prison Island, Jozani Forest, and local villages. Enjoy activities like hiking, bird watching, snorkeling, and diving among vibrant coral reefs. Stay at the Z Hotel with All Inclusive accommodation, including a special lobster dinner.

Day 12 – Departure
